In Lake High Athletics, Saturday girls varsity basketball lost 58 to 35 against Cypress Creek. Tonight they host Timber Creek at 7:30. Girls varsity soccer are at home to take on Freedom High tonight at 7:30 PM.
The Jaguars topped off a stunning finish to their season with a 20 to 16 win over the Titans Saturday night. Jacksonville faces the Chargers in the Wildcard. Dolphins defeated the Jets yesterday 11 to 6 to finish a winning season and go on to face the Bills. Buccaneers lost 30 to 17 against the Falcons play Dallas next Monday night.
Tonight at 7:30 the college football playoffs wrap up with Texas Christian University – TCU – facing undefeated Georgia.
Late game tonight as the Magic face the Kings on a west coast road trip.
Yesterday, your UCF Knights mens basketball crushed SMU 85 to 53. Wednesday they host Memphis.

In the NFL the Jaguars fell to the Lions 40 to 14. 49ers beat the Dolphins 33 to 17. Buccaneers take on the Saints tonight.
World Cup winners yesterday were England and France. Today Japan takes on Croatia and Brazil and South Korea face off.
Magic are aiming to avoid their 9th loss in a row tonight against the Bucks. Heat take on the Grizzlies.
Saturday, UCF men’s basketball won 80 to 77 in overtime against Samford.
Please be advised of nighttime roadway paving activity on Narcoossee Road from north of State Road (S.R.) 528 to south of Dowden Road. Expect nightly lane closures to begin Sunday, December 4. Paving operations will continue from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. The lane closures will continue for several weeks until work is completed.
Please be attentive to roadway signage and slow down near construction. Remember, safety is everyone’s responsibility.

World Cup winners yesterday included South Korea, Uruguay, Cameroon, and Switzerland. Today at 10 AM the US takes on the Netherlands in the round of 16.
Tomorrow in the NFL, Jaguars take on the Lions, Dolphins face the 49ers. Monday night the Buccaneers play the Saints.
Heat beat the Celtics 120 to 116. Magic lost to the Cavaliers 107 to 96 on a 7 game losing streak. They hope to avoid loss 8 tonight in Toronto.
